Hello and thank you so much for taking the time to visit my site!

I discovered yoga when I was 16 and I have since been beyond fascinated as to how amazing it makes me feel!

In 2011 I decided to quit my job as a buyer and embarked on a 7 month adventure around India to take some time out and source fabrics and trimmings with the view to starting my own textiles business.

Following a life-changing retreat to The Himalayan Yoga Institute, my trip took an unplanned turn and I returned back to the UK as a qualified yoga instructor. For the past 8 years, I have been teaching group classes at various top yoga centres and corporations in London, private one-to-ones and professional athletes, including the Harlequins and England rugby teams. I have also travelled around the world sharing my love for yoga, at resorts, on yachts and at private villas and retreat centres. Over the years, I have also trained as a life coach, which is something I integrate into all of my classes and feel incredibly passionate about.

In 2018 I took on a full time role at Hotpod Yoga, which involves leading their 200 hour yoga teacher trainings, advanced courses and heading up all things yoga related across their 6 studios in London and 60 franchisees worldwide. Despite having a full time job, I still make space for life coaching and private yoga sessions.

My privates yoga classes and life coaching sessions are tailored to the needs of each individual. When it comes to my public classes, which I teach less and less of these days due to my focus on private and coorporate work, involve an innovative and forever changing style of dynamic vinyasa flow. Although extremely fast-paced at times, I am a perfectionist when it comes to correct body alignment, the synchronisation of movement and breath and the  importance of a sumptuous, meditative relaxation to close. My classes are down-to-earth, fun, creative and challenging, but at the same time accessible, maintaining the philosophy that ‘yoga is for all’.

When I am not on the mat, I am at the sewing machine making a range of goods, from hand-made yoga bags, relaxation eye masks and bespoke clothing. My textiles are available to buy from my online boutique (here).

STYLE OF YOGA

If you come to one of my public classes, expect a playful, creative and forever changing style of dynamic Vinyasa flow accompanied by uplifting tunes. Although my classes can be strong and fast-paced, I am a perfectionist when it comes to correct body alignment, the synchronisation of movement and breath, and the importance of a sumptuous, meditative relaxation to close. The most important thing for me is that my classes are inclusive and accessible, maintaining the philosophy that ‘yoga is for all’.

QUALIFICATIONS

I initially trained in traditional Hatha yoga, with The Wise Living Yoga Academy. Since then I have expanded my studies to Vinyasa flow (with my mentor Celest Pereira), Forest Yoga (with Jambo Dragon), Yin Yoga, Myofascial Release and Traditional Chinese Medicine (with Alicia Cheung and Paul Grilley), Pregnancy Yoga (with Uma Dismore-Tuli) and Meditation (with Deepak Chopra and Tara Brach).

I have also studied to be a Coach (with The Life Coaching Academy and The Landmark Forum), which is something I thread through my classes as well as offering private sessions.
