Hello and thank you so much for taking the time to visit my site….
My name is Charlie (short for Charlotte)… I discovered yoga when I was 16 and I have since been so fascinated in the subject, particularly in terms of how much of an impact it has on my mental, as well as physical health.
In 2011 I decided to quit my job as a buyer and embarked on a 7 month adventure around India to take some time out and source fabrics and trimmings with the view to starting my own textiles business.
Following a life-changing retreat to The Himalayan Yoga Institute, my trip took an unplanned turn and I returned back to the UK as a qualified yoga instructor. For the past 8 years, I have been teaching group classes at various top yoga centres and corporations in and around London, private one-to-ones and to professional athletes, including the Harlequins and England rugby teams. I have also travelled around the world sharing my love for yoga; at resorts, on yachts and at private villas and retreat centres. Over the years, I have also trained as a life coach, which is something I integrate into all of my classes and feel incredibly passionate about.
STYLE OF YOGA
If you come to one of my public classes, expect a playful, creative and forever changing style of dynamic Vinyasa flow accompanied by uplifting tunes. Although my classes can be strong and fast-paced, I am a perfectionist when it comes to correct body alignment, the synchronisation of movement and breath, and the importance of a sumptuous, meditative relaxation to close. The most important thing for me is that my classes are inclusive and accessible, maintaining the philosophy that ‘yoga is for all’.
QUALIFICATIONS
I initially trained in traditional Hatha yoga, with The Wise Living Yoga Academy in Bali. Since then I have expanded my studies to Vinyasa flow (with my mentor Celest Pereira), Forest Yoga (with Jambo Dragon), Yin Yoga, Myofascial Release and Traditional Chinese Medicine (with Alicia Cheung and Paul Grilley), Pregnancy Yoga (with Uma Dismore-Tuli) and Meditation (with Deepak Chopra and Tara Brach).
I have also studied to be a Life Coach (with The Life Coaching Academy and The Landmark Forum), which is something I thread through my classes as well as offering private sessions.
When I am not on the mat, I am at the sewing machine making a range of hand made goods, from yoga bags, relaxation eye masks and bespoke clothing. My unique, heart shaped eye-masks are available to buy from my online boutique. For custom made / one off pieces, please get in touch here.

I look forward to meeting you, if I haven’t already!
Much love & light,
Charlie x
